This Is How It All Began!- Gingerbread

Gingerbread Houses have been a family tradition, I always loved it when my mom would make our Gingerbread house for the Christmas season, I know that there were some who couldn't wait until New Year's Day to destroy it and eat everylast piece. I never went for that, I loved the spicy smell and the smell of chocolate. Yum! It just reminds me of Christmas, as for the little guys we used to decorate the tree with them, I never cared much for gingerbread cookies when I was young, I just loved the look and smell of them. That is until I found this recipe, they are soft and yummy! They never make it to the tree!
